Weston Music Society
Season 2025-2026

As the Weston Music Society embarks on its third decade, we look forward to continuing exceptional programs that help make Weston a great place to live.

Mission Statement

The Weston Music Society, formerly Weston Philharmonic Society, was founded in 1997 and is a 501 (c) (3), not-for-profit organization, a volunteer group dedicated to enriching our community through music. As part of our charitable mission, 100% of all funds raised are used to:

Scholarships: Along with participating donors, we offer scholarships for Cypress Bay and Western High School seniors desiring to continue their music education at the university level.

In-School Music Program: An educational and entertainment program presented free of charge by the WMS to Weston public elementary schools each semester. Professional musicians introduce students to the four main sections of the orchestra: strings, brass, woodwinds, and percussion. Approximately 7,000 students and their families are reached with this program.

Musical events: We provide concerts and diverse musical events for the enjoyment of our members and the community at large.

Grants: We provide grants for the Weston public middle schools (2) and high schools (2) that are used by the music department of each school for instrument repair, new instruments, sheet music for concerts, and musical consultants.
